  While Fujairah might be a head-turner due to its mountains, the surprise package in this city, surrounded by the Sharjah border, was definitely Kalba. Erase any images of city life because Kalba slides open slowly—friendly locals inviting you with their radiant smiles. This is evidence of their great tradition, and it feels so homely. My first stop? The Kalba Kingfisher Park. Lush greenery enveloped me as I walked around the perfectly manicured gardens. Birds from foreign lands serenaded me with a natural symphony for the soul. The park itself was a haven of tranquility, dotted with charming paths and hidden nooks perfect for quiet reflection. But all is not serene gardens in Kalba.
